Ha finalizado la “Batalla en el Palacio” de Dania Jai-Alai. Una final deslucida, sin juego ni emoción. Han ganado Barandika y Leke porque han cometido menos errores que Olharan y Etcheto que han estado por debajo de su rendimiento habitual. Lo importante es que este torneo se ha celebrado en un contexto atípico. Cuando no hay en funcionamiento fuera del País Vasco ningún frontón tradicional. Y lo ha hecho sin la apuesta de por medio como leitmotiv. Basándose en la asistencia de espectadores, spectator sport, sin otro reclamo que disfrutar del jai-alai como deporte. Continue reading
